The Admiral Swingset is from our Selwood Climbing Frame range and includes various features which include a large play fort with fully wooden roof, straight slide, swings and slatted combination rockwall ladder. It is manufactured from cedar wood and pre-stained with a factory applied water based redwood colour stain; this playset will look beautiful in any garden.
The play deck is 1.2m (4ft) from the ground so is high enough to give a challenging climb up and fun slide down, but not too high to scare younger children. The deck measures 118.7cm (46¾") wide from left to right, by 89.53cm (35") deep from front to back. This equates to over 1m/sq of raised play area, below which is the sand play area. With the addition of a membrane you can fill the area with sand if you wish and that turns into another play area for the younger child. The ground beams which act as the surround for this area are 12cm (5") high.
The Admiral Swingset features a premium wooden roof which covers the play deck that’s enclosed by the slatted wall rails. This swingset features a high number of wall rails to prevent childrens arms from being put through the bars and at the same time created a fantastic cabin feel which the children will enjoy. The very popular window to the front of the fort which is a hit with many children who love standing in their high tower and looking into the garden below.
The combination rockwall ladder has 5 high climbing rocks to provide older children a more challenging assent up to the treehouse deck and also contains 7 slats to enable younger children to climb the ladder. Once on the deck they can come back down the slide, play on the large deck area or draw on the ABC vinyl wipe clean chalk wall.
The 8ft slide on the Selwood Climbing Frame is high railed to ensure children can get onto the slide easily and safely. The slide features a wave in the middle to give some additional excitement, and the bottom of the slide flattens to enable a slower exit to ensure children can place their feet down safely.
The swings consist of 2 belt swings with attached ropes coming down from the swingbeam, these belt swings are flexible and this makes them more comfortable for children. If you have a younger child who is not yet big enough then these can be replaced with alternatives such as the toddler and the high back baby seat. There is aso a trapeze bar that children can hold onto and swing from as a different option to the normal belt swing. There is also a option of a glider upgrade also.
This playset is designed for children aged between 3 and 10 years of age. The set is designed and tested (EN-71 & ASTM) to meet requirements for private residential use – this set is not suitable for commercial use. Our playsets have been designed so they can be built directly on top of the ground (a flat, level surface is required, grass is absolutely fine) and comes with fixing stakes which dig into the ground for extra stability.

Warranty
Manufacturers Limited Warranty
The manufacturer states that the product is free from defect in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the original date of purchase. This one (1) year warranty covers all parts including wood, hardware, and accessories. All wood carries a ten (10) year warranty against rot and decay. Refer to the schedule associated with replacement of parts under this Warranty. In addition, the manufacturer will replace any parts within the first 60 days from date of purchase found to be missing from or damaged in the original packaging. This warranty applies to the original owner and registrant and is non-transferable. Regular maintenance is required to assure maximum life and performance of this product and failure by the owner to maintain the product according to the maintenance requirements may void this warranty. Maintenance guidelines are provided in the Owner's Manual provided by the manufacturer.
This Limited Warranty does not cover:
- Labor for any inspection or Labor for replacement of any defective item(s)
- Incidental or consequential damages
- Cosmetic defects which do not affect performance or integrity of a part or the entire product
- Vandalism, improper use, failure due to loading or use beyond the capacities stated in the Assembly Manual.
- Acts of nature including but not limited to wind, storms, hail, floods, excessive water exposure
- Improper installation including but not limited to installation on uneven, unlevel, or soft ground
- Minor twisting, warping, checking, or any other natural occurring properties of wood that do not affect performance or integrity.
The manufacturer states that the product has been designed for safety and quality. Any modifications made to the original product could damage the structural integrity of the unit leading to failure and possible injury. Modification voids any and all warranties and the manufacturer will accept no liability for any modified products or consequences resulting from failure of a modified product.
This product is warranted for RESIDENTIAL USE ONLY. Under no circumstance should the product be used in public settings, such use may lead to product failure and potential injury. Any and all public use will void this warranty.
This Warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may have other rights as well which vary from state to state or country to country.
Please note, where a curved slide is part of the set you have purchased, please ensure this is checked upon delivery for any scrapes/scrathes etc. Please note this on the POD and contact us straight away. If the POD is signed clear and then damage is noticed afterwards, charges may apply for replacement pieces.
