Great Overall Product!

My Brother just brought this for my 1 year old niece. Even though she is not old enough to use the swing, we have purchased a high back baby seat until she grows into the swing.  It took roughly 2 guys 8 hours to put it together. They took all the parts out and put them in letter order so they were easy to find, doing this was a huge time saver. We had one guy reading the book and getting the  parts while the other two put it together. Having 2 drills was also a great advantage to getting this put together so quickly. The slide was a little dubious when we first saw it in 3 parts instead of 1 but it is very sturdy which is great for the kids. If you have never worked with cedar wood before it is soft but as long as you do not over tighten the screws you will be fine.

We purchased this swingset for our son’s second birthday. We knew he wanted a rock wall and a slide, but we were having trouble finding anything suitable that would look good in our garden. My husband and father-in-law put it together in about 8 hours, but they did have a slight advantage as they are both carpenters. My husband suggested that you make sure to sort all of your parts prior to beginning of the build.  It would have been nice if the parts had all been labeled by the manufacturer rather than taking the extra hour to sort them all out. Overall were happy and our son loves this swingset! He especially loves the slide and with comparison to our friends with kids that have purchased climbing frames, this set offered a lot more than their sets which they paid. For the price, this was the way to go. We hope that it lasts for a long time.

We thought to help future customers build there climbing frame we would give them the below pointers!

1) Sort wood
2) label with chalk or something that is easy to see but washes off.
3) Sort all hardware into individual steps and label
Right now you are ready for building, it took 2-3 people about 8hrs, the wood is quite fragile it is pre treated though which is great. This set is for smaller children not big ones I have 2 nephews aged 3 and 8 and the recommendation is 60kg per swing seat so its suits them just fine. It looks good in the garden and my children are happy also.

I can hardly keep my kids off this thing; they love it. Believe what they say for the time required for setup. I consider myself to be quite good at DIY and have put up a lot of flat pack furniture over the years, but it still took my father-in-law and me about 9 hours. I was surprised to see how thin and flimsy some of the wood is, but it has held up just fine.

I was quite surprised that it turned up in just two boxes. 1st box contained swings, slide, hardware, and brackets. 2nd box contained all of the wood. The wood is mostly pre-drilled. It took me about 2 hours to sort and label pieces. The build took approximatley 9 hours. I was greatful for my friend’s help!

All in all this swingset does take some elbow grease to assemble but it is well worth it. I am pleased with the purchase and so are my kids.

This product is everything it is advertised to be. The finish is superb. Assembly manual is very complete and detailed. Pay attention to which screws and bolts it tells you to use and you need to lay out all the parts.  With a moderate skill level, two people should be able to complete in 10 to 12 hours.  I found it helpful to use the 3D views on the website to help visualize details.
