June 7th, 2011

Having younger children you always worry about them and when choosing a climbing frame you want to make sure that their first climbing frame is the right one! This is why at Climbing Frames IE we can help you pick the best one to suit your child. It is important to spend time on this and make sure that it has features you want it too.

The Andorra is a great first climbing frame and is one of our most popular sets the Andorra climbing frame has many great features which include the below.

• 1m(3ft) Deck Height with vinyl roof- This has a low deck height so it is not too high for the younger child as they will be going up and down this.

• 2 position swing beam with 2 belt swings. The swings can be changed for a baby bucket or a high back baby seat depending on what age your child is.

• Combination Rockwall/stepladder – You can decide if they are ready for the rockwall and if not just add them on later onto the set when they are older.

• 2.2m high railed wavy slide – The slide on the Selwood Climbing Frame is high railed, especially at the top, to ensure children can get onto the slide easily and safely and that they are retained as they enjoy the ride. The slide features a wave in the middle to give some additional excitement, and the bottom of the slide flattens to enable a slower exit to ensure children can place their feet down safely.

• Vinyl chalkboard and sand/ball play area – These are 2 great features that are really popular with the younger child.

The Discovery is another one of our smaller sets and a great first climbing frame as it is not too big. This climbing frame looks great in any garden. It has many features that are the same as the Andorra the 2 different features are it has a slightly larger deck and also a trapeze bar to swing on.

• 1.2m (4ft) Deck Height with Vinyl roof – Slightly higher deck than the Andorra they can grow into it ready for when they are older.

• 3 position swing beam with 2 belt swings and a trapeze bar – The swings can be changed for a baby bucket or a high back baby seat, the trapeze is an extra feature

• Sand/ball picnic table – These are 2 great features that are really popular with the younger child.

There are accessories available for the smaller child such as the high back baby seat which can be swapped for one of the swings, when they get older the swing can be put back on. June 1st, 2011

Here at climbing frames IE we cater for all different size gardens and some people think they will need a large garden to house a climbing frame, but this is not the case. All our climbing frames are available in a wide choice of designs and sizes, to suit all sizes of budget and garden. We do suggest that you measure your garden first just to see how much room you do have, and to make your life a bit easier we have all measurements available in the description of each product on our website www.climbingframes.ie and if you are not sure which one we can help you decide over the phone.

Oriana Fort

Two of our sets the Andorra and the Meadowvale are good for smaller gardens as they are both under 4m wide these are really popular not only because of the price but also because there are lots of activities more suitable for the younger child such as chalkboard, 2.2m slide and a sandpit area that will keep them entertained. The Oriana Fort & Admiral Fort are also great sets these have a fort and slide and if you don’t have the room in your garden then these are perfect. Both the Oriana and Admiral fort have a chalkboard and also a sandpit area.
