Danby Climbing Frame
Fort FeaturesThe 1.5m (5ft) deck height fort stands at 320cm high in the garden and provides the stability for the other accessories on the Danby Climbing Frame. Manufactured from cedar wood your new climbing frame will be resistant to rot and insect infestation. The upper deck of the Danby climbing frame features a play area measuring 120cm x 90cm, and this play deck is protected by a stunning wooden roof that provides shelter from the rain or direct sunlight.
Swing FeaturesThe swing beam on the Danby Climbing Frame has been cleverly designed to provide the maximum enjoyment for smaller locations, and the designers have managed to place three great swing activities into one feature. The swing beam itself is a monkey ladder swing beam, which is hugely popular with children as they free swing back and forward. Children should always be monitored whilst using the monkey bars. On the swing beam are two great accessories, the belt swing and the trapeze bar. The belt swing has been designed to mould comfortably around your child’s seating position, whilst gripping them for added security.
Slide FeaturesChildren always love slides, and with the Danby Climbing Frame you get an extended slide from the 1.5m (5ft) deck height fort. The 3-metre slide features an exciting wave in the middle for added excitement and has raised edges for additional security. The raised edges provide safe hand grips for your child when they are taking their seating position at the top of the fort. The gradient at the base of the slide has been reduced to provide a safe exit speed.
Climbing FeaturesChildren can make their way to the upper cabin of the Danby Climbing Frame by utilising the Rockwall Ladder at the back of the fort. Increased in size to deal with the 150cm (5ft) deck height of the playset children can make the climb to the summit in one of two ways. Gaps between the slats allow children to use it like a regular ladder or alternatively utilise the supplied rockwall mounts to plot an exciting course to the summit.
Play FeaturesOn the upper fort level of the Danby Climbing Frame is a large chalkwall, ideal for sketching out fascinating doodles, scribbling notes or creating masterpieces. Underneath the upper fort is a play area that could be turned into a sand play area. With the increase height of the upper deck it provides ample head room (5ft) to allow your children to play under. If you do decide to turn this into a sand play area we recommend that you utilise a weed suppressant membrane before placing any bags of sand in.
