Manufactured from a specialist cedar wood which is ideal for use in the garden, the Peak climbing frame brings the fun of the playground to your back garden.

Naturally resistant to rot and insect infestation, the cedar wood (cunninghamia lanceolata) used to produce the playset is strong and durable, and you have peace of mind with our ten year wood warranty as standard.

Soft to the touch, our wood has been carefully prepared to reduce the risk of splinters, flaking, cracks or checking. The set comes pre-stained in a warm redwood colour and an occasional re-stain with Selwood Wood Stain and Protector will keep it looking good as new, but this is not required for your warranty.

Easier Home-Build

The Peak Climbing Frame is part of our Next Generation Series, which has been designed specifically for easy DIY home build. Our new panelised construction system helps to reduce the time and effort needed to build the playset with only a few screws needed to affix each pre-assembled wall or panel.

All wooden components in the set have been pre-stained, pre-cut and pre-drilled, allowing you to focus instead on following the build procedure marked out in the detailed instruction manual with the included hardware. For additional detail there is also a video section on our website that shows the build procedure for the various sections of the climbing frame.

To ensure everything is protected and stays together during delivery our wooden climbing frames come flat packed and sealed in double or triple layered cardboard boxes.

Two Swings & Trapeze Bar

Swings are always one of the most popular play features with children available in the park. Now you can bring this into your own back garden with the Peak Climbing Frame. Our swings feature soft touch ropes that look great and are kind to your children hands when swinging. The yellow belt swing seats are made from a high quality injection moulded EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate) plastic that features a grippy surface to ensure a safe and secure seating position whilst using the swing. The big benefit of using a flexible plastic is that the seat can mould around your child’s hips whilst providing a comfortable seating position.

The swings and trapeze bar all fix to our strong swing beam (13cm x 7.5cm) utilising heavy duty swing hangers. Thanks to the easy to use metal clamps at the top of the swing beam changing out accessories is easy, whilst not compromising on strength.

Tube and Straight Slides

There will be no need to queue for the slide on the Peak climbing frame as this playset benefits from having two slides, a tube slide and a straight wavy slide.

Our slides are manufactured exclusively for us in our Canadian factory and have been produced utilising a UV protected HPDE plastic.

The tube slide features a full enclosed ride through a descent of over 1.2 metres and through just over 270 degrees. The slide is securely fastened to the upper fort and supported at key areas by strong wooden re-enforcement's.

The straight slide features high sides to ensure a safe journey back down to ground level. Dual reinforcements from the sides and rear of the slide ensure rigidity, whilst maintaining the needed amount of flex. The wave in the middle of the slide provides a little extra fun, whilst the reduced gradient and step at the bottom means they land on their feet, rather than their bum.

Climbing Rockwall & Ladder

Our rockwall is combined with a slatted ladder to make it suitable for all ages. Our rockwall ladder is mounted at a 70° angle, making it fun and safe to climb.

Including five dual colour rocks in various shapes. These fun climbing rocks are mounted with two recessed screws to prevent spinning.

Our rocks are manufactured from extrusion blow moulded HDPE, guaranteeing a safe and durable climbing rock which will not chip or scratch like ceramic rocks.

Monkey Bars

Monkey bars are the challenge that kids love, these have four swings to complete as an exciting way into the play fort. You have a step up so they can reach up for the first rung of the ladder. Once up they have a challenging gap that the youngest children may need a little help with. However, watch their confidence and strength grow as you are no longer needed.

Made from the same quality cedar wood the rungs are strong, but gentle on young hands having been sanded to create an smooth easily grip-able surface for kids to hang and swing from one to the next landing up on the play deck.

Creating an additional challenge for kids is great way of extending the life span of climbing frames so older children keep playing outside in your garden.

Lower Playhouse

The Peak Climbing Frame features a lower playhouse, which adds another dimension to the set, children can let their imaginations run wild as they enter their playhouse via the wooden front door, which is securely closed via a magnet on the frame. Green plastic window frames adorn the lower windows and give it a real homely feel.

The internal playhouse measures approximately 109cm x 109cm, providing ample space for your children to play. The height of the lower playhouse is 1.2 metres from ground level.

Another benefit of the playhouse walls is that they help to ensure that children cannot accidentally walk into the swing area.

Cabin

The upper deck of the Peak Climbing Frame sits 1.2 metres from ground level and is accessible via the rockwall ladder, monkey bar swing and slide at the front. The front of the fort features two green plastic windows, helping to give the set a more homely feel and provides a great space for imaginative play, whilst protective mesh fabric fills the space for the large window.

The upper deck area measures approximately 109cm by 109cm and there is a maximum standing height of 165cm between the upper floor and roof peak.
