Selwood climbing frames are manufactured from specialist cedar wood which is perfect for use in kids climbing frames, as it doesn't need pressure treating..
This cedar wood (cunninghamia lanceolata) is strong and durable, it's naturally resistant to rot and insect infestation, which is why we give you a 10 year warranty as standard and don't have to pressure treat our play equipment.
Our wood is gentle to the touch ideal for children's hands and very resistant to splinters, flaking, cracks or checking and sharp corners are rounded off. An occasional re-stain will keep it looking good as new, but is not required for your warranty.

Easier Home-Build
Designed for an easy DIY home build, only a few screws needed to fix each wall that comes pre-assembled, and roof panels are the same, this makes assembly very quick saving you time and hassle so you get to use your playset even quicker.
Pre-cut wood to correct lengths with pre-drilled holes so no sawing or drilling new holes is needed! Finally the wood stained before it arrives to you, so the easy-follow illustrated manual to bolt and screw together with the included hardware. You will have the safety screws and driver included for you.
To ensure everything is protected and stays together during delivery our wooden climbing frames come flat packed and sealed in double or triple layered cardboard boxes.

Two Swings & Trapeze Bar
With two grippy belt swing and a trapeze bar children will be occupied on these for hours alone. The belt swings grip will inspire confidence as they will feel secure no matter what heights they reach. Trapeze bars are more popular with older kids, but younger ones will look on them as something to build up to especially if they see older siblings performing on them.
Our swings are manufactured from high quality injection moulded EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate) plastic, with PP welds on the ropes to ensure they're safe and secure.
Fixed to our swing beam (13cm x 7.5cm) by heavy duty swing hangers. Swings are quick and easy to fit with correct spacing because we have pre-drilled mounting points. Our swing beam is held in place by an a-frame using an extra strong metal clamp to make the join.

Spiral Tube Slide
Exclusive to us, our slides are manufactured in our Canadian factory from UV protected HPDE plastic which provides great strength, stability and will resist losing colour for years.
The spiral slide is enclosed so there is no way of falling as children fly down the slide that spins in on its self and gives kids a completely different experience to a straight slide. It being enclosed adds to the sensory experiences going into the unknown its one for the explorers, older kids love this and younger ones will follow them once they see them land safely down the bottom.
This slide is enclosed so you cant hold the kids on the way down, but it has reduced gradient and step at the bottom meaning they land on their feet.

Climbing Rockwall & Ladder
Our rockwall doubles up as a slatted ladder to make it suitable for all ages. Rockwall ladders are mounted at a 70° angle, making it fun and safe to climb up to the play deck.
Including five dual colour rocks in various shapes. These fun climbing rocks are mounted with two recessed screws to prevent spinning.
Our rocks are manufactured from extrusion blow moulded HDPE, guaranteeing a safe and durable climbing rock which will not chip or scratch like ceramic rocks. They are made specifically for the small hands of children.

Lower Playhouse
Children love letting their imagination run wild, let the fun commence in their very own playhouse. This includes a toy kitchen complete with hob, pans and pots. The playhouse measures approximately 165cm x 109cm, so provides plenty of play space.
Included are green window frames and a serving counter 61.4cm high, ideal for use with a free-standing bench (measuring 86cm long by 30cm wide and 31 cm high).
The standing head room inside the playhouse is 120cm. The playhouse wall ensures children cannot accidentally walk into the swing area.

Cabin
The largest raised play deck is one of the most popular features on our forts. Children simply love climbing up to the deck and waving down from their forts, castles or crows nests. Complete with green window frames, safety mesh is also provided for open window areas it's a fun, enjoyable play area.
The deck is large and measures 165cm x 109cm. Maximum standing room within the cabin area is approximately 165cm. This provides a great size and shape area for children to sit with friends, or access the slide.
